Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Turn It On or Off

Although the Samsung Galaxy SIII is a great smartphone that comes with a lot of advanced technology and useful features, it does not mean this phone does not have a weakness. Just like any other electronic device, phone's usage and age can also cause the device experiencing a problem.

In the common problems experienced by the mobile phone, there are some issues that can be resolved by restarting the phone, or in other words, turn off the phone then turn it back on. In addition, by turning the phone off when not in use can help you to save battery. And you can turn it back on when you want to use it again.

How to shut down?
As written on support.bell.ca, to turn your Galaxy SIII off then following the easy steps below:
  1. Press and hold the Power button located on the right side of the phone for about 3 seconds.
  2. In the pop-up menu that appears select Power off option.
  3. Tap on the OK button.
  4. Now your phone will be shut down.

How to turn it on?
If you want to use it again, then just following the simple steps below:
  1. Press and hold the Power button located on the right side of the phone for about 3 seconds.
  2. Unlock the screen by slide the phone's screen upward with your finger.
  3. If you use a PIN, then here you will be prompted to enter your PIN. So, enter your PIN.
  4. Tap on the OK button.
  5. Now your phone will turn on.

Well, it's so easy and simple to do, right? By knowing how to turn on and off your phone, now you can overcome some of the problems that may be experienced by your phone.   1. SInce I did a hard reset two weeks ago on my s3 (due to an SD card error that kept coming up), I now have to hold down the power button till the phone vibrates, let go, then hold it down again for the 3 count. Why can I no longer just hold it down to turn it on?

      Well, I have to say sorry since I can't give you any solution for your issue.
      But, this issue can be happened if your power button is broken. Thus, you can try to bring your phone to the service center to get repairs.
