You can charge the battery of your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a wireless charger by using the following steps:

Also, if you want to use the fast wireless charging feature(it's enabled by default) so you can charge the battery with more quickly, your phone or its screen should be turned off.
  5. Place the centre of your phone's back vertically or horizontally on the centre of the wireless charger to start charging the battery. When needed, you can check the remaining charging time on the screen by pressing the Home key.
  6. When the battery is fully charged(the battery percentage shows 100% and the LED indicator lights green), remove your phone from the wireless charger and then unplug the USB power adaptor/Samsung's adaptive fast charger from the electric socket to turn off the wireless charger.
