Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Use Night Clock Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Night clock is a feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that will let you use the edge screen as a clock at night while the main screen is turned off so you just need to glance at your phone to easily check the time. You can set the clock to stay on up to 18 hours. But, the clock will be disabled automatically when the battery level is below 15%.

How to set the night clock feature?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Display and then tap it.
  3. Scroll down the screen to find Night clock and then tap it.
  4. To enable the night clock feature, slide the ON/OFF switch to the right. The switch turns blue when it's enabled.
  5. To set the time when your phone has to start displaying the night clock, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the start time. Alternatively, tap the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) to input the start time using the virtual keyboard and then tap Done button to save the changes.
  6. To set the time when your phone has to stop displaying the night clock, tap and hold the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) and then drag it upwards or downwards to adjust the end time. Alternatively, tap the time(hour, minute, AM/PM) to input the end time using the virtual keyboard and then tap Done button to save the changes.
  7. To change the night clock position, scroll down the screen, tap Night clock position and then select Right side or Left side.

How to view the night clock?
As the example, if you have set your phone to display the night clock from 5PM to 5AM in the right side, during these hours, a low-light clock will be displayed on the right edge screen while the main screen is turned off.
