Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Change Screen Mode in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

If needed, you can adjust the display's colour and contrast in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge by changing the screen mode so you can get the best settings based on your viewing environment.


How to change the screen mode?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Display and then tap it.
  3. Scroll down the screen, tap Screen mode and then select from the following options:
    • Adaptive display(this option is enabled by default): select this mode to have your phone automatically optimizes the colour range, saturation, and sharpness of the display depending on the type of image being displayed and other criteria, such as the battery level. This mode may not be compatible with third-party apps.
    • AMOLED cinema: select this mode for a better display tone when viewing video with high-quality or in a low-light environment.
    • AMOLED photo: select this mode to have your phone makes the display tone look like real colours.
    • Basic: select this mode for the optimum display in a normal environment.
  4. The screen mode has been changed.
