Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable or Disable Keep Screen Turned Off Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

When enabled, the keep screen turned off feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge can help you prevent your phone's screen from accidentally turning on while in the dark place and causing unwanted actions, e.g., open an app, call a phone number, etc. It comes handy, especially, if you turn off your lock screen or use swipe as your screen lock method.

How to enable or disable the keep screen turned off feature?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Display and then tap it.
  3. Scroll down the screen and then tap the ON/OFF switch next to Keep screen turned off to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns blue , means the keep screen turned off feature is enabled and your phone will prevent the screen from turning on accidentally while it's in the dark place, such as while you're carrying it in a pocket or bag.
